This is on the way to Santa Elena taken thru the moving bus window, but I wanted to try to capture the elevation combined with the 'barricade' that marks the edge of one VERY STEEP decline ... absolutely phenomenal scenery!!! Breathtaking! Especially when, from your wobbling position in your very big bus, you look out the window to see only a couple of inches between the bus tires and the edge of the road. And then you look at the bus driver and notice his ever-so-happy face chatting merrily away with one of the riders ... no worries ...

A colorful gateway for Rebecca L. ........ in Santa Teresa (surf town) - near Montezuma.

This was back in San Juan del Sur ... all beings enjoy watching the sun set !!! Too cute to pass up.

Yes! It was veeeeeeerrrrrrry hot the day we left Puntarenas for Santa Elena!!! "A" is drinking a boxed vanilla coffee ... actually, tasted a bit like a Starbucks! Check out the tan lines ...
A NOTE ON CYBER CAFES ...
Internet Cafes are an interesting commodity. It's taken a bit of patience and lightheartedness to work with computers in various states of 'updatedness' and stickiness due to the salty air. Some only let you work with Spanish directions and some with a choice of languages. Then the keyboards are of a Spanish version so ... the placement of various characters are most likely in a different location than you're used to ... OR they are where you're used to but the marks on the keys are not really what you're getting when you push them. Hmmm, needless to say, it's tricky but we're learning.
